Vets may also prescribe this medication to decrease pain following orthopedic and soft tissue surgery in dogs and to treat other conditions not listed in this document. Administration

  • Give your dog the tablet by mouth and with food. Usually, the recommended daily dose is one tablet divided into two equal doses.
  • The same dose may be decreased to once daily after one week of treatment.

It is not allowed to give your dog an increased dose or more often than is allowed by a veterinarian because it will not treat the pet’s condition faster.
