A medicine that is usually used in dogs to treat and manage inflammation and pain due to osteoarthritis. Vets may also prescribe this medication to decrease pain following orthopedic and soft tissue surgery in dogs and to treat other conditions not listed in this document. Carodyl 100 mg is intended for dog use only and should not be given to cats or other pets. The active ingredient of this medicine is Carprofen. Administration

  • Give your dog the tablet by mouth and with food. Usually, the recommended daily dose is one tablet divided into two equal doses.
  • The same dose may be decreased to once daily after one week of treatment.

It is not allowed to give your dog an increased dose or more often than is allowed by a veterinarian because it will not treat the pet’s condition faster.
